I did an impulse purchase the last time Amazon dropped the price of this Lenovo Tab One tablet. It's 8.7-inch screen and one pound weight (with case) is what enticed me to buy it. I wanted something with a bigger screen than my phone, but considerably lighter (and smaller) than my powerful 12-inch OnePlus tablet. Something I can easily hold with one hand for general email, news, and social media browsing as well as light gaming. The form factor of this Lenovo Tab One fits my needs perfectly. After using it for this past week, here is my brief review:
1. Screen - its 1340 x 800 resolution looks better than I anticipated. Great vibrant colors and sufficient brightness. Good touch response. Split screen function works fine to run/view two apps at same time.
2. Sound - decent, about what you'd expect for a tablet this size. There is a dedicated headphone jack if you want to hear the bass.
3. Battery - using it all day, I've not dropped below 30% charge. More than enough for my needs.
4. Cameras - 8MP rear camera does fine, but does not compare to my Pixel 10 Pro. The 2MP front camera works great for facial recognition, making it super easy to log onto the tablet.
5. Software - Android 14 out of the box but automatically updated to Android 15 after setting it up (that's as high as Lenovo plans on taking it). Lenovo will support quarterly security updates through 3/14/27 so you can plan on replacing this tablet at the end of 2027 if you want to stay safe.
6. Performance - seems snappy at all the basic tasks and runs every app I need (including a few basic games) without any problems or slowdowns. 4GB of computer memory, so don't expect miracles with large games.
7. Expandability - I inserted a 128GB microSD card to supplement the 64GB of built-in storage, so I have plenty of on-board storage.
8. Case - the included folio case is fine. You can use it to hold the tablet up like a laptop screen if needed. The cover, when folded over and back makes a convenient handhold for the tablet.
Summary: This Lenovo Tab One tablet turned out to fit my needs perfectly and, for the price, delivers a significantly more polished experience than I was anticipating. This is one impulse purchase that worked out very well.

Excellent experience so far! Usually im a samsung guy only! But figured id give this a go because the great price point for a brand new tablet with great specs! Battery life is great outstanding actually! conpact but adequate screensize. fast and convenient load times! Simple split screen view toggle and sound quality is great and The operating system is simple to navigate similar to Samsung, since its brand new The hardware is all up to date with modern apps making everything seamless and smooth. Seems pretty durable also definitely Sturdy but we'll how it fairs when i take it on travel.... Upgraded from my onn brand 7 gen 3 the difference in hardware is night and day dont second guess it, right now this is the best deal for the price point.

This is a decent tablet, every component worked well, the battery life can be more than 8 hours. Compare with Samsung Tablet 7 which is discontinued still has something to catch up, that's why I gave the tablet 4 stars. It is much better that ONN Tab 7 which is basically unusable.
Not too much tablet at 7", this is a bite too large to hold by hands. Overall, I'm satisfied with the tablet.

This tablet is still amazing. I've had it for sometime now and I have no complaints at all. It still works great for reading and light browsing on the web. I have not noticed any stutter unless I have a bunch of tabs open on my browser. Like I stated before remove all non essential apps that you don't plan on using and you'll be fine. The battery is amazing and charges fast and will last for days when not in use. For this price point this is an amazing affordable tablet.

I was honestly surprised with how decent this tablet is. It’s not the strongest piece of equipment but for the price it works quite well. It took a little bit to turn off some of the default apps that I don’t plan on using, but once I got all the non essential apps disabled or uninstalled it seemed quite snappy. Even browsing the web is pretty responsive as long as you don’t have 10+ tabs open.

The main reason I got this tablet was because my old kindles battery started expanding and pushing the screen out so I mainly plan on using it for kindle reading and reading some manga. The screen is bright enough and the letters and images are crisp. Honestly it is a step up from the kindle that I have had since 2020.

I can’t say anything about the battery yet (reason being I’ve only had it for a day) but so far it seems like as long as I don’t have the brightness turned up all the way the battery will be more then sufficient for what I’m asking from the tablet. The WiFi strength is honestly better than my old kindle, that thing struggled to work on 5ghz in my bedroom and this thing works just fine.

If you plan on using this tablet for gaming I would look for something a little more powerful (sad to say the 8 inch size is hard to find with a good cpu/ram) but for a kindle alternative it works amazing.
